VINCENT COUNTRY
A Safe Place Where Kids Can be Kids
Vincent Country Safe Zone Activity Day is a Love Thy Neighbor CDC event co-founded by Troy and Tommi Vincent designed to be safe place where kids can be kids. The Vincent Country Safe Zone Activity Day provides a safe haven for students K-5th (unless otherwise noted) grades living in under resourced areas in close proximity to the NFL Super Bowl activities. The students from this partner school will enjoy a day of fun, food, and sports activities (including NFL Flag).

Burckhalter Elementary School in Oakland, CA
The week began on Monday, February 2 with Evernorth Wellness Sessions and Eye Exams, ensuring students had access to important health and vision resources. The day also included a special book reading of GameDay in the USA: San Francisco with authors Tommi Vincent, Marnie Schneider, and Kat Watters, followed by a Parent Meet and Greet that brought families into the experience.
On Tuesday, February 3, Vincent Country hosted the Safe Zone Activity Day presented by Cigna Healthcare. Led by Principal Dr. Geathers, the event welcomed 225 students and 41 faculty and staff members for a day filled with sports, wellness, and learning opportunities.
From the receiving line to the sports activity zones, the energy on campus was contagious. Students danced, ran drills, and shared high fives during NFL FLAG football activities while building teamwork and confidence. The Evernorth wellness sessions helped students learn how to care for their mental health, while OneSight brought bright smiles as students experienced clearer vision.
The week of inspiration concluded on Friday, February 6, when Google hosted Burckhalter Elementary students for a special field trip, giving them the opportunity to explore technology, innovation, and future possibilities.
Beyond the students, the impact extended to the broader community. The Cigna Wellness In Motion Bus provided free baseline health and skin cancer screenings for parents, teachers, and community members, helping families prioritize their health and well-being.
