In November and December 2008, Love Thy Neighbor Chairman Troy Vincent spoke to the The University of Miami and the University of Wisconsin Football Teams about "Living and Serving in the Moment."

In August 2008, Love Thy Neighbor Chairman Troy Vincent, Community partner MASE training staff, and LTN Public Health Specialist, Vincent High began coaching the Upper Loudon Youth Football League Bandits Team; a 13U Competitve Tackle team.

In June 2008, Love Thy Neighbor Chairman, Troy Vincent spoke at the NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference, whose mission is to provide NCAA student-athletes with a forum to openly discuss issues that may affect them on their campuses, and in their communities, while also providing them with the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem solving skills.

In June 2008, Love Thy Neighbor hosted the LTN Skills Combine at Trenton Central High School in partnership with the Athletic Advantage Fund

With a partnership with Catapult online, assisted in children receiving new dell computers for their home.

Provided scholarships for over thirty girls to attend gymnastics at Shafer's Gymnastics School.

Love the Neighbor is a partner with the Red Cross in their School Safety Initiative and has helped encourage student participation in Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training.

Love thy Neighbor organizes Pop Warner Football / Cheer & Dance for Trenton youth.

In conjunction with YNB, Love thy Neighbor helped educate Junior and Senior students at Trenton Central High School on the importance of money management.  The initiative behind the financial literacy program, an eight-week course designed by the FDIC called "Money Smart" was to foster a better understanding of banking concepts.  Included in the curriculum were topics such as bank services, credit, budgeting, savings, the use of credit cards, loans and home ownership.

For his work with Love thy Neighbor, Troy Vincent was named No. 1 on The Sporting News' annual list of Good Guys in pro sports.
